8. Thoughts on Cyber bully

Cyberbully is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyber bullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyber bullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyber bullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior. The problem with cyber bully is that is stays if its not reported and it is also harder to get notice by teachers and parents if its in their personal social media platform. I believe Cyber bully is a very serious issue. It could cause emotional and mental stress to the victims which can leads to suicidal thoughts or even death to those who are unable to handle it. Everyone should take cyber bullying seriously and people should create and awareness for this to educate people on ways to prevent or let them know to seek help if they encounter one. With that said if Schools could start educating students on social etiquette and responsibility online than can help reduce this issue from happening.

9. Click Baits use on social Media?

The purpose of click bait is to attract audience and encourage them to click on a link to visit a certain web page. It can be good and it can be bad. Good is that they could be sharing information or some promotion that you might be keen of. Bad it could be an explicit site or a malware virus. It can be useful sometimes and it can get annoying if it gets too much and over the same click bait popping out. But the useful think about click bait is that most click bait sites work is designed to maximize on the setup of social networking sites. mainly, the ability to view other users’ activity. The only aim of a click bait article is to get you on to their site, at which point they need you to read as many other pieces as possible. we are gullible people sadly its true i have lost count of the number of time i visited an article headline in my Facebook timeline knowing that it is either nonsense or not through but because of the headline i end up clicking on it to find out what happen.

10. Apps that i find exceptionally intuitive

Apps that i find exceptionally intuitive is Instagram. It is one of my most use app beside whats-app during my free time. i enjoy using this app because i get to share photos in an artistic way and also share short clips on IG story that people are able to view for only 24 hours and it will be remove and it also allows me to communicate with my friends and followers. one good thing about Instagram is that it focus on privacy when u send a video message on Instagram you can actually have it set on how long can the video message be seen by the recepient it could be a few mins or up too 24 hours. I also enjoy the user interface as the design is minimal and easy to navigate the icon that they use are quite self- explanatory . I also enjoy the tab on the profile page where you are able to see the tag photos by other users. It sort of like a memory lane or archive section for me as sometime i dont remember being tag and when i come across the tab i am able to see all the old photos that i am unaware of. With that said in my onion Instagram is one of the best app use to communicate visually.

7. What are the various HTML authoring tools is best use and why?

One of the best tools personally as i have tried them before for my curriculum is Dreamweaver. It is known for its CSS features. This is just one of the many advantages of the program. Adobe Dreamweaver is used by web designers  to create appealing and dynamic websites. This software is not only design for advanced level but it is also designed for novices or beginners. With Dreamweaver, simple and complex websites can be designed using a point and click method. Adobe Dreamweaver includes templates for web pages that come in handy in the designing process. Template files can be created by the user or alternatively, ready made templates available within the program to be use. Web designers can make changes to the design of a website simply by editing the Dreamweaver template files. Dreamweaver can customize the look of the software as per their requirements. Menus, tabs, commands, fonts and code coloring can all be adjusted according to personal preference.

8. How would i enhance or improve the ad campaign found on social media?

The Ad that i found on social media is a club 21 post ad It started popping out as i recently was googling for this company. It was a promotional ads to share will people on their current sales that they are having. In my opinion i think they should try to connect with their customer. It is crucial to understand customer buying habits and to tailor the promotional campaign accordingly by identifying their profiles and behaviors such customer like loyal customer that keeps coming back for the brand and is required to communicate on a regular basis. Value customer that are interested in incentives purchases and lastly discount or impulse buyers. they 2 types of customer tends to rely on reviews, ratings on social media. Club 21 should also offer free shipping, with an increase number of people going online shopping halfway leaving their cart empty it is a good way to implement free shipping around a certain radius location to prevent this.

6. What kind of resource are required for the creation of the last game i played

The last game i played is on a mobile app game call toon blast. it is a cartoon puzzle game that is created by toy blast and the resources that the game would need is the game content. without content the game would be pretty much lifeless and boring. it also requires to have a game engine in order to have it created. its possible that toon blast could have been created by one of a popular game engine call Cocos 2D which is widely use to create 2D games. Graphics designer are required to create the visuals of the game. i believe visuals are important its the first thing that attracts potential player to start playing the game and depending on a certain type of graphics the developer is going for will target various type of player. than after people will look at the game content and what sort of game this is like examples, Puzzle game, RPG game or shooting game. once the game is release they would need a analytic tool to collect information about how it is being used. Where are the players getting stumped and giving up, and how do they react to purchase button

5. What would be a cause which you feel most strongly about? How would you create awareness using only digital platform? What would be your intended results?

The cause that i feel strongly about is having an anti-bullying campaign to spread awareness. Even tough schools have provided counselors and posters regards to anti-bullying, I feel that people are not taking bullying seriously. I have work in a school environment before and seen a kid getting bullied right in front of a teacher and the teacher did nothing. I feel that some people are not aware of how serious bullying is. It could cause physical self- harm, depression or even suicide.

I believe by creating videos creating a short story line of real life stories or and re-enactment of a story regards to bullying on social media can help to create awareness not only to educate on victims but also the bullies. By having digital poster being shared online and having an hotline being advertise on social media can help victims to reach out for help. Having a talk with real life victim by going live on social media can help to create more awareness to let people understand how serious this matter is. I hope by creating this platform on social media will help educate people on how serious this matter is and also reduce case of kids getting bullied and suicide cause by being bullied and also to reach out to victims to help counsel and guide them.

3. How would you make yourself viable in terms of knowledge and capabilities in a knowledge economy?

The knowledge economy is a system of consumption and production that is based on intellectual capital, an economy in which growth is dependent on the quantity, quality, and accessibility of the information available, rather than the means of production. It is normally represented as a large component of all economic activity in developed countries. Less developed countries tend to have agriculture and manufacturing-based economies. A developing country has manufacturing and serviced based economy, and developed countries tend to have service based economies. Most countries economies are composed in these 3 major categories of economic activity but differs in proportions relative to the wealth of the country. Some example of knowledge economy activities include research, technical support and consulting.

In order to stay viable in the knowledge economy is education. It is important to have education in the knowledge economy in order to apply the skills correctly. A person must also be able to have various ability to support the education that they already had and the ability to communicate with one another to share information is key and a person must know how to create and organize resources and information to stay viable of them that requires skills and capability in using networking tools. By staying up to date with the latest news and information helps to stay viable in the knowledge economy.

4. Are you a member of the creative class? What makes you able to fit in this category? What are your shortcomings and how would you address them?

The members of the Creative Class exhibit a strong preference for individuality and self-statement. They do not want to conform to organizational or institutional directives and resist traditional group-oriented norms. This has always been the case among creative people from artists to scientists. But it has now become far more pervasive. In this sense, the increasing nonconformity to organizational norms may represent a new mainstream value. Members of the Creative Class endeavor to create individualistic identities that reflect their creativity. This can entail a mixing of multiple creative identities.

I would consider myself as one of the creative class member because i grow up studying and enjoying arts. I like to be creative and not follow the society norms. I think outside the box when it comes to creating content somethings that i think would caught the attention of viewers which is why i think i am part of the creative class member.

My shortcomings is that my idea or creation could be more original and not base on building on someone else work. I could use this abilities to target social issues such as bullying, low self esteem or environmental issue to help create content and spread awareness of this issues.

1. Describe your attachment to technology and social media. What are the positive and negative aspects and what should you change?

Technology and social media have transform the way we interact and communicate with each other. With the advances in technology it have allowed us to complete more tasks in less time with less effort and more productivity. But with these abilities, our interactions with other people have drastically changed.

Smartphones have been part of our everyday lives being conveniently accessible just with a touch of a button, people are using social media everyday as part of their regular daily basis. We got so grown and attach to technology because it is like a part of our extended self that carries a lot of information and contacts of our daily lives.

Social media can have both positive and negative aspect. One of the positive aspect of social media is self-expression and branding. Social media has proven to provide an effective means for favorable and accurate self-presentations that is important for one’s positive socialization and psychological functioning.

The negative aspect of social media is the violent content. Prosocial TV enhances children’s social and emotional skills for healthy relationships, but, on the other side, television and video games with violent content might also develop aggressive behavior.

In Conclusion although there are some risks of negatively impacting social relationships, it also offers opportunities. With that said what can be done is to monitor and control where children are surfing and browsing through the website and also educating them on the negative and positive of social media.

2. How do your social media networks mirror your own existence?

Social media can be a good platform for job opportunities or even trying to reconnect with your childhood friend or finding your long lost relatives. which is why it is important that our profile on social media should be based on our personal data that had been input by us or other users, such as friends who’d mentioned you or emailed you, posted your photo on their facebook page or listed you in their smartphones address books.

The notion of keeping up appearances is not unique to social media, from job interviews to meeting new people for the first time, it’s only natural that we try to put our best selves forward. We all identify with three different types of self. The actual self the person we perceive ourselves to actually be and the ought self-based on who we believe we should be and the ideal self-shaped by hopes, wishes, and aspirations the person we want to be. The larger the perceived discrepancy between the actual and the ideal self, the more prone the individual is to negative emotions, such as low self-esteem, anxiety, and even self-contempt.

Achieving and maintaining a positive self-image in the social media age is not necessarily about quitting Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Rather, it is about adjusting your perception of the online world and finding a balance between digital and real life. Firstly, learning to see through the smoke and mirrors of other social media profiles will break the habit of comparing yourself unfavourably, so that time spent online is more about connecting with friends than highlighting your own shortcomings.
